When Kathleen and Thierry came to see me they told me that they would like to get married in 6 weeks and had booked only their reception. I love challenges!
Half the guests flying in from France and the other from Melbourne – it was a small soiree.
Morgan and Daniel, both from Shadowcast Images, and Daniel’s wife Melissa were just a wonderful team to work with. With Melissa being fluent in French she was able to help many confused guests. Both Morgan and Daniel are also among my favourite photographers – passionate about their work with and so much talent.

I finally got my CC in Toastmasters. It took me almost 2 year to complete. I have learned so much through Toastmasters and have made many friends along the way. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to improve their business skills or just want to grain confidence.
I certainly learned a lot about myself and I am very proud of my achievement.Anyone would like to know more about it and find a club close by, please visit:

It was a full on day with the ceremony held at precisely 12:00 noon at Scarborough Beach.
It was a perfect day to witness two beautiful people getting married. Alice and Ryan are a fun loving couple and this was portrayed through out the day. Charlie their dog was their ring bearer.
After the ceremony, the guests joined the couple for a game of lawn bowls. A 2007 H2 Hummer 140" Stretched SUV Limousine took the bridal party for a scenic tour while the guests made their way to Oceanus on the beach.
The theme was carried through out the reception. Over sized martini glasses were filled with beach sand, driftwood and Tillandsia (Air plants). Each guest got a glass cylinder filled with sand, shells and a message from the couple.
The bouquets were made by my favourite florist Daisy Lane.

Kylie and Bills wedding was held at Grandis Cottage. A beautiful tranquil setting on a 5 acre property surrounded by gum trees and roses set in the heart of the Swan Valley.
Kylie arrived in a horse drawn carriage with her Dad. She was just glowing!
After the ceremony the bride and groom and the bridal party went to have their photos taken in the beautiful bush setting.
Later at the reception, the guests were treated to a scrumptious meal in the marquee which was cooked by Danuta the chef. Her Strawberry hazelnut gateau was just to die for!

The Candy buffet was another hit and the disco was led by the brother in law ‘Leon the DJ’, who had the guests in full swing all night long..

What a warm, welcoming and beautiful wedding it was. Even though the weather played havoc outside, which nobody noticed when the groom sung to his bride.
Richard Syme, Master Photographer, truly made his magic happening with his camera and created art for the happy couple to cherish for the rest of their lives.
Do yourself a favour and visit his website http://www.syme.com.au/ or visit his studio in Subiaco at 113a Rokeby Road.
The Caversham House http://www.cavershamhouse.com.au/ was top notch with fabulous food. Now I have to go on a diet!
I wish Maya and Emmanuel well, especially for their second wedding in Jakarta with 2500 guests!!!
