The reception was held at Tompkins Park. We had views over Perth City. Natasha Roger is the Function coordinator there and she certainly knows how to run a great reception.

Alex the groom gave his bride Abby a gift after his speech. Fireworks for 5 minutes! It was tough to keep it a secret all this time, but was well worth it, seeing her happiness!

Natasja Kremers from NK Photography was the photographer for Abby and Alex's wedding. I love working with her as we always have so much fun together. She is also highly professional and makes everyone feel relaxed. Thank you for the photos!

I had the privilege to work with Rob Watson from Selected Impressions and he was a lot of fun

Nautical Theme through out at the South of Perth Yacht Club.

The food was fabulous and the Staff was so much fun to work with. Thank you Colin and Steve!

The cake was real and made by Kakes by Karen and I missed out on a piece. The figurines look just like the couple.

2 weddings this weekend. Tonight I had a rehearsal at St. Joseph's Church in Subiaco. What a beautiful Church. Tomorrow I have a rehearsal at UWA Tropical Gardens. Then Friday is the wedding of Genevieve and Ivan and Saturday the weddings of Abby and Alex. Sunday I will be staying in bed!

Yesterday Charlotte and Mark tied the knot at Joondalup Golf Resort. We had so much rain in the past 12 hours that we thought we had to revert to Plan B, but the sun came out to give the couple their time to get married.

Ceremony was conducted by Vicki Sheppard, a Celebrant who has so much passion for her job. She makes everyone smile!

Of course the bridal party got to ride on those to have their photos taken. How much fun is that!

You can use this anywhere! Dinner party or wedding! How simple. This idea came from Gorgeous Helen.

Damian, my president from Toastmasters got married. They had a small intimate wedding - it was their perfect day. Charlotte's bouquet was entirely made out of silk flowers. Ronnie from Daisy Lane did a wonderful job again. I love the colours!

Seating Charts are often overlooked by the bride and groom, but it is part of an important element to make the evening flow in harmony.

When guests arrive at the reception venue, they like to know where they will sit.
I see it all the time that the ladies would love to find their allocated seat in order to free their hands from their handbag and jacket/shawl.
Now they have their hands free to enjoy their pre-dinner drinks or just mingle with the other guests.

Some reception venues offer you this service by providing you with a basic seating chart, but why not carry through your theme with your seating chart?

Here are some charts I have made for my clients. By all means I am no expert, but at least they match the bride and grooms theme.
